Hi,
My name is Vera Ada, and this page is, most of all, an experiment. It is a way for me to improve my knowledge and skills in website design, but also a place where my friends and family can follow the projects I do.
During the last few years I have lived in three different countries. For now, this page is dedicated to them – to sharing what I have learnt and are still learning about them.
The “everything I know” concept began with a notebook. A notebook where I wrote down stories from encounters with people from the Eastern Europe or the Eastern Neighbourhood Countries. Some will also call it the post-Soviet space. But the aim of this site is to diversify the homogenous connotations I believe is applied to that exact term, and that are in my opinion quite outdated. Because I tell you what – we sure are lucky, that the world is more nuanced than we tend to understand.
Therefore, the “Everything I know”-project. Is my personal exploration of a region of the world I love, and one that I find endlessly transformative and exciting.
You are welcome to join me, if you’d like.
Disclaimer: This site is a personal project. All opinions expressed are my own, and all materials shared are my own creations unless stated otherwise.
