Feel these walls

What does a wall reveal about a city?

In Tbilisi, the walls speak in fragments. Layers of paper, tape, scratches, numbers, offers, warnings, and promises. They hold traces of what is right now — and of what has already disappeared.

They reveal opportunities – maybe you need a new flat? A new washing machine? A new cat?

And they allow you to meet the inhabitants of the city: someone has lost a cat, another provides a service, and a third person is looking for a friend.

The walls at the same time holds the memory of something torn down and carried away – and the opportunities the city offers you.

This installation brings these surfaces close — close enough to feel, and even close enough to wear. Through scans transformed into collage, textile, and video, ’Feel these walls’ invites you into an intimate, tactile reading of Tbilisi’s public skin.

What do you sense – and who responds?
